THE WORKSHOP IN ULAAN BATAAR MONGOLIA
Polka dot workshop

The workshop in Ulaan Bataar Mongolia is a result of a VSO project which employs six women, who are probably the only wage earners in their families.

Mongolians who are mainly nomadic herders: have, due to the drought conditions in their country, suffered a loss of stock and livelihoods, driving them to Ulaan Bataar to find work.

As a result, unemployment here is very high and projects such as this helps exports and provide much needed work.
