Here in the Pannier Market, Tavistock, Devon we have a large fixed site packed full with a colourful display of Fair Trade items. There are many differant styles of bags, scarves of all colours and patterns and many interesting gifts to look at. You are invited to come and explore.

The Historic Tavistock Pannier Market is also a very intersting place to visit. The buiding was purpose built in 1850 for the charter market by the 7th Duke of Bedford, the then holder of the Charter, and the building has not changed much since then except it is now heated in the winter. The market is possible the finest example in the South West of a traditional Pannier Market. Tavistock has also been voted the best market town in Britain. This with its historic buildings and being close to the Moors makes it an ideal place to visit.
